iFaith is an extremely useful tool that can save an iOS device’s SHSH blobs even when Apple isn’t signing the firmware version it is running. This is useful because all other SHSH blob saving programs require Apple to be signing the firmware.

iFaith gets around this limitation by dumping the SHSH blobs directly off your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad instead of fetching them from Apple’s servers. The only downside to iFaith is that it is only compatible with A4 iOS devices. This includes devices like the iPhone 4 and iPad 1G or below. Newer devices like the iPhone 4S or iPad Mini are not supported.

Anyhow, the creator behind iFaith, iH8Snow recently shared a fun fact over Twitter that you can indulge on today. According to iH8Sn0w, over 71% of all SHSH blobs on iFaith’s SHSH server are iPhone 4 (GSM) users. That means nearly three quarters of the userbase behind iFaith is iPhone 4 owners.

This percentage shouldn’t really be too surprising considering so many people upgraded to the iPhone 4 when it was released, as it was such a radical change compared to the iPhone 3GS.

Sure you would rather of read about progress on the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak being made, but alas you will have to make do with this fun fact for today. Hopefully we will have some positive news to share shortly. Until that time stay tuned.
