Wouldn't you find it awesome if you could automatically tell what the weather was like outside without having to glance into the Weather application or launch Notification Center? – If yes, then check out a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed WeatherBar by iOS developer Rudolf Lichtner.
WeatherBar adjusts the hue of the Status Bar depending on the temperature outside. The data is collected using the temperature of your current location, so you can be sure that it will let you know what it’s like outside no matter where you are. As shown above, the hue color will indicate the temperature outside – colder colors represent colder temperatures and warmer colors represent warmer temperatures.
The tweak supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit. If you're using the Celsius unit of measure, the tweak's colors support anywhere from -20ºC to 50ºC. If you're using Fahrenheit as a unit of measure, the tweak's colors support anywhere from -4ºF to 122ºF. The colors, in order from coldest to warmest are:
-Violet
-Blue
-Green
-Yellow
-Orange
-Red
The colored status bar is transparent, much like the new Status Bar effects on iOS 6, and can be seen on the lock screen, on the home screen, and even from within applications. This means you don’t have to be in a certain location in iOS to see what the temperature is like outside and you’ll be able to see if the temperature changes without ever leaving the middle of what you’re doing.
WeatherBar is iOS 5 and iOS 6-compatible. If you’re interested, head over to the ModMyi repository in Cydia and get downloading! It's free via ModMyi repository on Cydia!
