Vector is the most exciting parkour game I have ever seen on iOS. It feels like a mail version of Mirror's Edge, with 2D silhouetted art style graphic. This is not an endless running, because there is an end, but all you do is running to survive, yes, you are escaping.

The game is inspired by the famous dystopian sci-fi story: 1984, so the rest you can determine, you are one of the brainwashed citizens, and got luck to wake and escape. Do everything to run to survive from the pursuers, unfortunately you got no weapons - all you can rely on is your physical skill. Luckily, you turn into the world’s greatest Parkour artist the moment you break out. You run, vault, climb over roofs, slide narrow space under towers, and leap over alleys, using extraordinary techniques to survive from the ‘Big Brother’, who’s chasing for you right after you, until you reached a door, which will shut down for you and keep him outside there, then you got a level finished.

Unlike Temple Run and other survive games, the enemies are behind you and you can’t see it, the “Big Brother” is not invisible. Actually, he is always right after you, you also see him run, vault, climb, slide and leap, he is gonna make you hard to breathe.

The gameplay is simplicity itself, requiring little more than your keyboard’s directional keypads and (later) three buttons for the deployment of power-ups; these you can buy with in-game currency, or with real cash. The special skills (called tricks in the game) looks amazingly nice, and it’s a learning experience based heavily on memory and quick reflexes.

You need to collect coins to unlock more tricks, and with the display of the tricks, you can earn more points. The best you exert your skills, you can finish the level with higher stars. Just like Angry Birds, you can pass the level with just one star, but that’s far from enough. When you reached some specified level, and haven’t got enough stars, you will not be able to unlock new levels….

Overall speaking, it’s a excellent survive game but really really challenging. The graphic and music makes you just like in a Hollywood movie.
