The company launched a revolutionary marketing campaign around a new slogan: Think Different, spreading the idea that people who used iMacs were dreamers who could change the world. iMac is still one of the most received product of Apple in nowadays.

1996: Apple Purchased NeXT Software for $430 million.  Steve Jobs returns to Apple as a part time consultant to the CEO. Apple was dying at that period of time, so Jobs started a revolution inside Apple which leading the world into a new computer age. 1998, Apple released the new iMac, which featured powerful computing at affordable prices ($999.00). The company launched a revolutionary marketing campaign around a new slogan: Think Different, spreading the idea that people who used iMacs were dreamers who could change the world.
The iMac design is sleek  with a clear plastic case trimmed in translucent shades of blue or red, with a smaller mouse and keyboard.  The iMac is pre-ordered over 150,000 times.  After three years in charge, Steve Jobs had brought Apple back to greatness. That’s why he finally accepted to become full-time CEO of Apple in January 2000 — the first time one man became CEO of two public companies at the same time.
iMac is still one of the most received product of Apple in nowadays.
