If you have an iPhone that is currently unlocked with a GEVEY Turbo SIM card (or any GEVEY SIM card for that matter) then you will need to take heed to a warning sent out by Apple N Berry not too long ago. They have mentioned that if you are planning on updating your iPhone to the latest iOS 6 firmware generation on September 19th, to take advantage of over 200 new features, scratch that plan.

You see, Apple N Berry have stated that they are currently testing the iOS 6 firmware with their GEVEY SIM cards, and they will need to wait for the official release of iOS 6 before they can conclude whether updating is safe or not. If you do update and it is found that the iOS 6 firmware and GEVEY SIM cards clash then you will be stuck without a way to connect to your unofficial network; possibly forever.
Even though you may want to upgrade your Phone to the iOS 6 firmware right away, it is better that you wait for confirmation from Apple N Berry.
As the saying goes… it is better to be safe than sorry.
We will let you know when it is safe for GEVEY SIM unlockers to update to the iOS 6 firmware. Until that time please stay tuned and leave any further questions or thoughts in the comments.
