The folks over at YoYoBase claim to have the solution, with one of the first available iPhone 5 SIM card cutters. The SIM cutter promises to be able to cut any GSM SIM card, which means it should handle both Micro SIM cards, and regular SIM cards as well.
However, it's hard to determine whether it works or not, since Nano SIMs are reportedly 15% thinner and unfortunately, the product page doesn’t actually touch on how this is accomplished. Then how is the cutter going to go about shaving a regular or Micro SIM card?
The gallery is actually a hands-on with the cutter from an unknown Chinease media, and according to their experience, this is really a cruel process...Although the device won't heart the key position, but it will still expose the inside of the card.

At last the seller points out:
NOTE: Because the iPhone 5 sim will be 18% thinner, you may need to slightly sand it with sand paper.
So maybe the cutter device would give you a full featured nano SIM card, but I don't think it will keep health for long.
In fact some carriers has announced that they will offer exchange for old SIM cards, maybe for free or paid. For those users it's really not necessary buy such a cutter. What do you think about the device? Will you going to creat a nano SIM card yourself?
