MuscleNerd has confirmed that RedSn0w can still jailbreak iOS 6 beta 4 which was just released today to developers. Best of all, jailbreak fans don’t even need to update redsn0w. The current version of the app (that’s “redsn0w 0.9.13dev3“) is already compatible with iOS 6 beta 4.
Best of all, jailbreak fans don’t even need to update redsn0w. The current version of the app (that’s “redsn0w 0.9.13dev3“) is already compatible with iOS 6 beta 4. However, potential jailbreakers should be aware that this version of redsn0w is designed for developers only. As a result, redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 only provides a tethered jailbreak solution, and won’t even install Cydia on the iOS 6-powered iDevice.
News regarding the jailbreak tool’s compatibility was shared today by @MuscleNerd, of the iPhone Dev-Team, who noted in a Twitter update that:
JB devs can continue using redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 with todays iOS 6 beta4 (keep pointing redsn0w at iOS 6 beta3 IPSW) is.gd/MCbq7A
