BattSaver is a new jailbreak tweak by xVolks, a pioneer of iPhone hacking, which potentially up to doubles the iPhone’s battery life by managing any radios travelling to and from your device. I have created a video walkthrough below to show off it’s functionality:

There are a number of functions and features within BattSaver. However the most prominent of which is the mode in which radios are handled. It comes with 5 modes: None, Normal, Agressive, Ultimate and Custom. Here is what it says about which on the tweak’s website:

None :
*All saving strategies are disabled,

Normal :
*All radios are disabled when you turn off the device and back on when you turn it back on,
*Each 15 minutes it allows BattSaver to wake up radios to get latest email and notifications

Aggressive :
*Same as Normal, plus :
*Each 45 minutes it allows BattSaver to wake up radios to get latest email and notifications,
*It disable Edge if WiFi is connected,
*It disable WiFi if no hotspot is detected,
*It switches to Ultimate mode if battery is less than 15%,

Ultimate :
*It disables all radios when phone is turned off,
*It does not enable radios when turn on (it up to you to enable the radio you need manually via SBSettings for example),
*It disable Edge if WiFi is connected,
*It disable WiFi if no hotspot is detected,

Custom :
*You select which optimizations you want you use,
*You may choose to always try to enable a radio, when you turn on the device,

There is also a couple of nifty option panels which include such features as a complete breakdown of your battery stats. Also a graphical representation of your battery usage in a graph format. There’s a reason why this jailbreak tweak is going to be a success. It is that jailbreaks have always been notorious for draining your battery. However, now people will be jailbreaking to save it.

BattSaver can be downloaded for $2.99 from the BigBoss repo. So be sure to go and check it out if you want to save some serious battery on your device.
