One of the ultimate cult-classics of the system, Jet Set Radio was revolutionary at the time for ushering in the use of cel-shaded graphics, and it was one of the most unique and visually striking titles of the early 2000s. Now Sega just announced that Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio will now also be heading to both iOS and Android.
The game is widely regarded as one of the best titles available on the doomed Sega console, featuring a vibrant 3D world, cool-as-heck soundtrack, and unique platform/exploration gameplay that revolved around 'tagging' various locales with graffiti.
No particularly interesting extra features have been announced for the iOS and Android versions of the game (you can use pictures with your phone's camera as graffiti), so we'd expect the game to be a straight port of the original title, albeit with higher resolution graphics.
Jet Set Radio will be out on iOS and Android later this summer.
