Bored with the look of your app icons on the iPhone/iPod touch or iPad? A new jailbreak allows you to add Instagram-like filters to your icons.
Available for $1.99 in Cydia, Aicon gives you the ability to place filters on your app icons. Example filters include x-ray and sepia.
According to the report, however, the jailbreak isn’t perfect, as least as a version 1.0 release:
The only current problem with this utility is that it doesn’t always apply the filters. You occasionally will have to respring, or revert to your original icons then apply the filters from scratch to make it work. However I’m sure this could easily be fixed by the developer with an incremental update.
