MuscleNerd has revealed few days ago that he had made some good progress on a baseband downgrading solution for iPhone 3G/3GS owners running the special 06.15.00 iPad baseband. This was some big news because since the iOS 4.1/4.2.1 firmware those who upgraded to this special iPad baseband (for unlocking purposes) have been stuck on it, with no means to downgrade back to a regular iPhone baseband. As there were numerous problems being experienced by people after upgrading, such as loss of GPS functionality, it is no doubt a baseband downgrading solution has been on peoples minds for a long time.
Now according to a recent tweet by MuscleNerd this baseband downgrading tool could be released on Sunday. It is important to keep in mind however, that this is not a confirmed release date. This is simply a prediction by MuscleNerd on when it will be released if things go smoothly (which, is generally not the case).

We will keep our eyes peeled on Sunday for a release of the 06.15.00 baseband downgrading tool. Stay tuned.
