MuscleNerd has announced the successful jailbreak of his iPod touch 4G on iOS 6 Beta. iOS 6 has over 200 new features, including an all new Maps app, improved Siri, Facebook integration, UI changes and much more.

Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 6 yesterday after the WWDC 2012 keynote. Since then, developers have tried out the latest beta to find out what is all new. MuscleNerd, on the other hand, went on to jailbreak the latest beta on his iPod Touch 4G. It wasn’t very successful as Cydia and other components were still broken, but with time he will be able to fix them. This doesn’t mean that a jailbreak is on the way, it could never even happen or at least take a while.

However, like he said, do not expect a jailbreak for iOS 6 beta soon. Nevertheless, this is good news, as we can expect a proper jailbreak when iOS 6 is released to the public this fall.
