When SAM unlock tool is unveiled, Apple N Berry announced GEVEY Ultra 5.1 for GSM iPhone 4 in nearly one day. We thought it might just be a coincidence, but appears it is not! Apple N Berry has announced that GEVEY Ultra 5.1 for GSM iPhone 4 unlock tool has been disabled, since the exploit it used took advantage of the server logic error that Loktar_Sun discovered. As apple fixed their activation servers and that the SAM unlock tool would no longer work, the same error targeted by the SAM unlock tool. Fortunately, the company promised to offer full refund for it.

Mostly we thought GEVEY should be a hardware unlock tool, that's why people like to pay nearly $50 for it. We don't like to judge the ethical issues within it.
Apple N Berry states that Ai Guan Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the company behind the GEVEY unlocks, accepts full responsibility for the recall and promises not to use server-side exploits in the future. The other GEVEY unlocks featured on Apple N Berry’s site still work, it’s only the model for the GSM iPhone 4 that was recalled. If you bought a GEVEY Unlock for the iPhone 4, the refund should be processed by Paypal within ten days. You can read the full announcement here if you need.
Although the free SAM tool no longer works with Apple’s activation servers, everyone who used it to get an unlock activation ticket should be able to use that ticket indefinitely. (You can back up your activation ticket for further use here.) Since the software for the GEVEY lived in the SIM-card replacement chip, it wouldn’t have been able to provide the same benefit.
Have you ordered GEVEY yet? Leave your thoughts please!
