PocketNow made a comparison very popular photos edit app for iOS, one is a tablet version of Apple's hallmark photo-manipulation software. The other is a mobile version of Adobe's category-defining Photoshop, the program so ubiquitous its name became a verb. They're both recent additions to the App Store, and I wondered what it was like to use both. So I installed them both to a 2012-edition iPad and gave them a quick test run.
Magical virtual brushes, fun with layers, and ridiculous mistakes that only great tutorials can fix. It's all there. Also included: me in a pirate hat. Join me as I put these apps through their paces and get a general impression of each, then compare and contrast their weaknesses and highlights. After a week's worth of use, I know which one I'd buy. Do you?
