We covered before that the The Walking Dead game which the same named TV series is in developing. Now the developer has finally revealed its release date, April! The terrified zombie game gonna hit iOS on next month! Along with the announcement, the developer released a awesome teaser trailer, check it out!

According to the game doesn't precisely mirror the plot of the original comic and TV series, instead telling a fresh story in the same universe featuring a new protagonist.

However there's still a lot of stuff we don't know about the games, like, say, how they'll play or when the iPad or iPhone versions are due out. Word on the street is that we should be expecting the games to release across iOS in April, perhaps a little after the XBLA, PC, PSN, and Macintosh versions launch. Fingers are crossed on that, for sure. Stay tuned to us as this stuff gets hashed out.
