Yep, we didn't recommend jailbreak apps for last week, because, they were really boring. But this week, seems we got something interesting round up. Check them out.
1. Imperium - A Multitasking Alternative for iOS - 99¢
iOS comes with a pretty straightforward and easy to use multitasking system – an App Switcher, which is invoked by pressing the home button twice or if you use Activator instead, a different method. The App Switcher in all of its easy to use glory, sacrifices functionality to stay simplistic. iOS developer Akhil Tolani has decided to make a new multitasking solution dubbed Imperium with even more options and functionality built into it than the multitasking App Switcher. As illustrated by the screenshots above, you can see just how much more useful this new tweak will be.
2. Deck - Brings Subversive Shortcut Menu to iOS - $1.99
So many functions of iOS are concealed within the Settings application, or require extraneous gestures to perform. There are also so many tweaks and applications in the Cydia store that try to make shortcuts in iOS great, but they lack a major feature – features. Now a new Cydia tweak called Deck is finally available in the Cydia store. This centralized Action-bar for the Springboard provides a quick way to get to your favorite apps or functions.
3. App Activation Audio - launch apps with sound and vibration - $1.99
When you launch applications on iOS, you do so in complete silence. If you’re the kind of person who likes to customize all aspects of their iPhone, then you’ll want to take a look at a new jailbreak tweak dubbed App Activation Audio by iOS developer Laurence Millar – the same developer that brought us Screen Swipe Sounds. App Activation Audio will play a sound every time you launch an application from your home screen and the sounds are completely customizable from the Settings application.
4. CallActivator - Useful Activator Shortcuts - 99¢
Unless you have some sort of quick-composition tweak installed on your device such as Messages+, iRealSMS, or biteSMS, you have to manually open the messages application to compose a text message. The same goes for composing emails, making phone calls, and launching Web sites. Wouldn’t it be great if a simple Activator action would allow us to do all of these things? Now with a new jailbreak tweak dubbed CallActivator by iOS developer VincenzoBB, Activator can do all of these things; you simply input the information it asks for.
5. SiriSports - Sports Information From Siri - FREE
Yet another awesome AssistantExensions add-on for Siri has been invented, this time dubbed SiriSports by iOS developer Evan Coleman. If you remember SiriNBA (also by Evan Coleman), it did the same thing SiriSports will do, except it was limited only to the NBA. SiriSports is like SiriNBA on steroids in that it supports the NBA, MLB, and NHL. The best part? – It's absolutely free in Cydia today!
6. CamFast - Quick Camera Shortcut - FREE
Undoubtedly one of the most-used features of an iDevice is the camera. The camera is a fun object on any iDevice because of the plethora of applications in the App Store supporting it. They don’t only support the rear-facing camera, but also the front-facing camera as well. The only problem? – Getting to the camera as quick as possible before your photograph opportunity is gone. A new jailbreak add-on for Activator dubbed CamFast by iOS developer Ron Melkhior will let you assign an Activator action to opening the camera.
7. Hud - Heads Up Display for Music Changes - FREE
Do you use your iDevice to listen to a lot of music? If you do, then you probably enjoy tweaks for making listening to music more enjoyable. One such tweak is a new free one dubbed Hud by iOS developer iStopped. It puts a heads up display into view whenever your music changes from one song to another and the heads up display includes the name of the song, album artwork for the song, and your current volume level.
