iPhoto brings a good ilife for your iDevice, but if you’ve installed iPhoto on your iOS 5.0.1-powered iOS device you’ll find that iPhoto, as it’s not compatible with iOS 5.0.1, is a little buggy and crashes rather a lot. Fortunately, a new jailbreak tweak which has the power to smooth-out these compatibility issues has hit the Cydia Store, and is available to download for free.

The tweak is called “iPhoto501Fix,” and can be downloaded via the default repositories. No new icons are added to the SpringBoard, and new panes don’t appear in the Settings app after the tweak has been installed. Instead, it works silently, behind the scenes, ensuring that iPhoto (under iOS 5.0.1) will run without encountering problems along the way and crashing.
As mentioned, iPhoto501Fix is available to download for free. Take a look at it now, and let us know if it works for you in the comments.
