Although the iPad has been a revolutionary product since the first iteration dropped some two years ago, it has, in the eyes of many, taken a backseat to the Cupertino company’s smartphone.
When the iPad 2 dropped last year, many consumers were left a shade disappointed by the new screen – or specifically – a lack thereof. The cameras added gave the impression that Apple had decided the iPad would benefit from snappers, but didn’t have the resources to keep them of the standard consumers had become accustomed to with the iPhone 4.

We said before, iPad 3, iPad HD or iPad Epic Pro Super X 4G LTE Touch. Thousands of Apple fans let their jaws hit the floor earlier today when Apple announced “the new iPad.” There was no these name we'd predicted, Just The New iPad. Apple broke the numbering scheme and went back to the basics.
Why? Apple VP of Worldwide Product Marketing Phil Schiller revealed the answer after today’s keynote.
When asked by The Wall Street Journal, Schiller said Apple called it “iPad” because “we don’t want to be predictable.” That’s it.

The New iPad launching on March 16th With Touching Pricing
Apple is launching its new iPad in 10 countries on March 16th and other 26 countries on March 23rd. Thankfully, the prices for the devices have remained the same as the current generation iPads with Wi-Fi only flavors going for $499, $599, and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB respectively. LTE models will go for $629, $729, and $829 for the same amount of storage space.
