Czech developer Craneballs has revealed that Overkill 2, the follow-up to its action-packed gallery shooter from 2011, will blast onto the App Store in a few weeks' time.
Gameplay details are currently pretty scarce, but we expect Overkill 2 to follow quite closely in the footsteps of its predecessor.
If that is the case, you'll be using quick reflexes, a keen eye, and a whole boatload of customisable weapons to shoot your way through hundreds of waves of enemies as fast as you possibly can.
All we know for sure is that Craneballs has spent "a lot of time tweaking the gameplay and the feel of the game".
Before you leave, check out our gallery (above) for two screenshots of the game.
In one of them, Overkill 2's weapon shop is shown. In the other, the game's upgrading area - where you can add scopes, stocks, and silencers to your favourite guns, and then view them in 3D - is shown.
Overkill 2 will be available to download sometime in February, so start polishing your rifle. Now.
